CORPUS is a territory of reference and a network of 17 Mediterranean partners. It is a regional documentary corpus on traditional architecture, its building techniques and know-how.

Corpus is an observatory of traditional Mediterranean architecture. Of its forms of construction and its transformation processes, of their effects on a disrupted landscape, of the permanence of living traditions, of the determination to preserve a shared heritage in a common space which is as real as it is mythical, as deeply marked by its physical as by its cultural features, where the light and the savours pervade both lifestyles and exchanges, where history, material and spiritual alike, has left traces of civilisation all around, construction, rehabilitation, heritage and use,

la COnstruction, la Réhabilitation, le Patrimoine et l'USage.

This project is financed by the MEDA programme of the European Union. The opinions expressed in this site do not necessarily reflect the position of the European Union or of its member States.
